Really? Only 8.9? A quick look at the United States Department of Labor shows that it is really 15.8%…here is their table.

That’s right…15.8%!!! Your friend who got laid off and is now working part time to try to make ends meet…is NOT counted as unemployed in the ‘official’ number…he is part of the other 7% who don’t get reported on. Also note the growth of the long term unemployed (Category U-1)…now up to 4%!!! Of course the Main Stream Media (MSM) is not going to report these real numbers…they are far too discouraging for the ignorant one.
President Barack Obama has a message for the unemployed: More help is on the way….unfortunately this so called help is in the form of another Trillion Dollars worth of Debt! Current budget is $1.17 TRILLION short…umm…this is just plain dumb.
